American Crafts | Thanksgiving Cards

Hi Everyone,

I had a post up this week on the American Crafts blog to celebrate Thanksgiving week.  I hope you all had a great holiday with your families.

The papers and embellishments in the Autumn Crisp collection are perfect for creating Thanksgiving cards to send to family and friends.

Thanksgiving Card

Supplies: Autumn Crisp (366518) - Walnut Lane Paper, Autumn Crisp (366523) - Cedar Lane Paper,  Autumn Crisp (366530) - Resin Buttons,  Shimelle (368164) - Letter Stickers, This To That (AM617-13) - Adhesive, Mister Huey's (SC1-31064) - Misting Spray Inky Black, Thickers (732564) - Chalkboard Chipboard Letter Stickers, DIY Shop (366640) - Kraft Tags, 

How To: Adhere polka dot paper to card base.  Attach kraft tag to center of card.  Use a punch or die cut machine to cut leaf from woodgrain paper.  Stitch center with a sewing machine, Adhere stitched leaf to left hand side of card.  Drop droplets of inky black spray mist onto card.  Spell out the word "Thanksgiving" using thickers and letter stickers.  Cut small triangle from plaid paper and adhere to bottom left hand side of card.  Trim small piece of striped paper and adhere to bottom right hand side of card. Finish by adhering 3 small buttons to bottom right hand side of card.


Thankful Card

 Supplies: Autumn Crisp (366517) - Cherry Lane Paper, Autumn Crisp (366514) - Autumn Ave Paper, Autumn Crisp (366524) - Poplar Place Paper, Autumn Crisp (366530) - Resin Buttons, Autumn Crisp (366531) - Wooden Buttons Multi, DIY Shop (366641) - Chalkboard Tags,This To That (AM617-13) - Adhesive

How To: Adhere chevron paper to card base.  Attach chalkboard tag to center of card.  Use a punch or die cut machine to cut leaf from polka dot paper. Stitch center with a sewing machine.  Adhere stitched leaf to bottom left hand side of card.  Trim "thankful" and fox image from pattern paper, adhere to card. Finish card by adhering 3 buttons to bottom left hand side.
